Pheromones - Where to Start?

Posted on January 26th, 2008 by HumanPheromone.org filed under Pheromones

It is recommended that you use one cologne or perfume and pay attention to the reactions of people around you. Then try some other pheromone product. The key with testing phero products is to be persistent and to test in different situations. You can’t just apply pheromone colognes then sit back and wait. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see results immediately. Everybody has unique body chemistry so try different dosage or a different mix of two or more pheromone products. Testing is the best way to find out what works for you. And it’s not expensive - there are a lot of free pheromone samples and pheromone kits for beginners available.

If you're new here, you may want to see new pheromone trial packs.

Pheromone Products FAQ

Posted on August 16th, 2007 by HumanPheromone.org filed under Pheromones

How do pheromones work?

Human body produces pheromones naturally. Individuals who give off higher amounts of pheromones usually have greater success with attracting mates, while individuals who don’t produce a high level of pheromones attract fewer potential mates. Pheromones are odorless chemicals and they are detected through an organ located in the nose that operates separately from the part of human nose that detects normal smells, called the vomeronasal organ or VNO. When VNO detects the pheromone, it sends a signal to the hypothalamus, which controls human sexual responses.

Are all pheromone products the same?

No. They are all completely different. For example, you have an option to buy pheromone perfumes, pheromone oils, pheromone colognes or pheromone concentrates. Some products contain androstenol and androstenone, and others contain androsterone or copulins. Pheromone products are available in either unscented or scented versions. Every manufacturer has its own special pheromone mixes. Also, men and women use different sorts of pheromone products - but there are some unisex pheromone products, too.

Are pheromone products safe?

Yes, pheromone products are perfectly safe. Since pheromones are worn on the skin or clothing and you are not ingesting anything, there is no health risk involved.

Will pheromones work for you?

Almost all people have experienced positive results with pheromones. But, results vary from person to person because everybody has unique body chemistry. Some types of pheromones simply don’t work for everyone. For example, some people report that androsterone pheromones work for them, while others say that absolutely nothing happens when they wear these kinds of pheromones. If you select the right pheromone cologne or perfume, you can expect positive reactions from people around you. Of course, pheromones won’t make members of the opposite sex to totally lose control of themselves, however, pheromones can and will make you become a lot more approachable and attractive. How To Apply Pheromone Products

Posted on June 6th, 2007 by HumanPheromone.org filed under Pheromones

Here are some basic tips and guidelines for applying pheromone perfumes and colognes:

The most important thing is to carefully read and follow any special application instructions that come with the pheromone product you want to use.

Apply the pheromone product to the pulse point areas of the body. Pulse points (hot spots) are areas where human body produces greater body heat. These include: the wrists, inner part of the elbow, base of the neck at the throat, the hair and scalp, center of the chest, and behind the ears. Women can also apply pheromone perfumes to ankles, thighs, and the backs of the knees.

Consider applying the pheromone products to your clothing instead of your skin. Due to your body heat pheromone perfumes applied to the skin can evaporate very quickly. Furthermore, pheromones applied to the skin can be destroyed by bacteria and get washed away by sweat. Some androstenone-based pheromone products can only be applied on clothing. Keep in mind that the pheromone smell will be on there for a longer period of time, and it may take several washes to come off completely.

Always use the correct amount of pheromones to achieve the results you want and be cautious of the “body odor” effect. Androstenone pheromones have a smell which many women perceive as invasive. Keep in mind that many males can’t detect this smell at all, however most women can smell it very well. Also, try to avoid pheromone build-up. This happens when human skin absorbs so much pheromones from the applications over a period of time - that you notice a significant drop off in pheromone effectiveness. To prevent this - apply products to your clothing.
